Making it in Midtown: How to Pitch Your Startup to Big Media Companies // BUSINESS 261

Mike Potter, Founder, Disrupto

Monday, April 18th from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. Price: $10 for this session only.

Striking the right partnership with the MTVs and CNNs of the world can help your product gain traction fast. You're in the right place at the right time – there's no place better than New York and the rapidly changing media landscape makes for plenty of opportunity.

Through shared experience and workshops with influential media executives, this class will help you identify potential partners, tailor your product strategy, and make the pitch that will land your first, big deal.

Sharing real-world experience will be Mike Potter, co-founder of Disrupto, an NYC-based product development firm that works with the startups who pitch and the media companies who make the deals. Mike will be joined by decision makers at top-tier media companies for unprecedented insight into what it takes to get the deal you might never thought possible. Each class will offer the opportunity for students to pitch their products and receive feedback in realtime.

Our goal is to make one big deal before the course ends – will it be you?

All of Disrupto's profit from the course will be donated to Camp Interactive, a non-profit empowering NYC inner-city youth through the inspiration of the outdoors and the creative power of technology.
